SPEC / 01

Build with FCT, nothing else required

Every submission must be built using the FreeCryptoTools builder — drag-and-drop frontend, AI-assisted contract generation, or both. Bring your own custom code on top if you want.

SPEC / 02

Deploy to any EVM chain

A mainnet, an L2, a testnet, or an EVM chain nobody's heard of yet — if it's EVM-compatible, it's fair game. Multichain deployments earn bonus points.

SPEC / 03

Self-hosted, not rented

In the spirit of FCT's GPL/MIT licensing, projects that run on the participant's own infrastructure — not a walled-garden SaaS wrapper — score higher on the "ownership" judging criterion.

Public code repository, 3-minute demo video, and a live deployed link on your chosen EVM chain — all required to qualify.

Judging

Track judges score independently; Community Choice voting opens the same day submissions close.

Demo Day & winners announced

Fine Print

Questions, answered.

No. FCT's drag-and-drop builder and AI contract generator are designed for non-technical founders. Developers are welcome to write custom code on top, but it's not required.
Any chain that's EVM-compatible — mainnet, L2, sidechain or testnet — qualifies, including newer or lesser-known ones. Deploying to more than one earns you extra points toward the "Most Chains Deployed" bonus track.
You can bring an existing idea, but the submitted build — or a substantial new feature on top of it — needs to be built during the hackathon window and must genuinely use FCT.
Yes. A single project can place in the Grand Prize and a category track, though a team can only collect one payout per track across the event.
You can build against a hosted FCT instance to get started, but self-hosted, open-sourced submissions score higher on the "Ownership" criterion — worth 20% of every track's score.
Prizes are paid out within 5 business days of winners being announced on Demo Day. Payout details are collected from winners after the announcement.
